These terms and conditions are intended to provide clarity and transparency regarding your participation in our course, Engaging the Public Square with a Better Story. We will outline what participants can expect and what is included in your purchase of Engaging the Public Square with a Better Story.
Engaging the Public Square with a Better Story is an online educational program developed by Spread Truth, aimed at training Christians to share the gospel with confidence. This course offers a comprehensive learning experience, including video lectures, downloadable resources, interviews, and Q&A sessions. Participants will acquire valuable knowledge and skills in effectively engaging in evangelism in the public square.

Parties Involved
This digital course, Engaging the Public Square with a Better Story, is provided by Jerry McCorkle, acting as a representative of Spread Truth Ministries. The parties involved in this agreement are as follows:
- Jerry McCorkle: Jerry McCorkle is the course provider responsible for developing and delivering the Engaging the Public Square with a Better Story course.
- Customer (Participant): The customer, or participant, is the individual who enrolls in the Engaging the Public Square with a Better Story course.
By enrolling in the course, participants agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined herein.
Scope
Engaging the Public Square with a Better Story covers the theological groundwork for evangelism in our current, secular society, providing practical tools to help participants feel confident in sharing the gospel. The course offers insights into having conversations with both unbelievers and believers about hot topics relevant to evangelism.
Limitations:
While the course aims to provide comprehensive guidance, it's important to note that individual conversations and circumstances can vary greatly. As such, "Engaging the Public Square with a Better Story" offers valuable guidance but may not cover every possible scenario.
Prerequisites:
There are no prerequisites for participation in the course. It is open to individuals of all backgrounds and experience levels.
Registration and Enrollment
To register for Engaging the Public Square with a Better Story, participants can purchase the course on our sales page. Upon purchase, participants will receive login details via email. They are required to create an account using these login details to gain access to their member library.
Course Access:
- Participants will see all seven modules within their member library.
- However, not all modules will be available for viewing immediately and will have a “coming soon” written on them.
- Participants will gain access to one module at a time over eight weeks.
- Week 5 will serve as an implementation week, during which participants will not receive a new module. Instead, they will focus on implementing the content from module 4.
Module Release Schedule:
- Modules will be released on Monday mornings at 9 am Eastern Time.
- Participants will receive an email notification with access to each module upon its release.
Bonuses:
- Bonuses will be made available after the close of the refund period.
- The printed material bonus will be sent out at the beginning of week 3.
- The digital resources bonus will be made available by week 3 as well.
- Q&A Sessions will take place during week 4 and week 8. Dates and times to be confirmed via email.
By enrolling in the course, participants agree to adhere to the module release schedule, engage actively with the content provided, and acknowledge the availability of bonuses as specified.
Payment Terms and Refund Policy
Course Fee:
- The course price for Engaging the Public Square with a Better Story is $247 for the full payment option.
- Alternatively, participants can choose a three-payment option, with three recurring payments of $87 each.
- Payments will occur on the same day of the month as the initial purchase date for the three-payment option.
Payment Methods:
We accept payments through Stripe, our credit card processing software. There are no transaction fees or taxes associated with the purchase of this course.
Refund Policy:
Participants have 14 days from the date of receiving course access to request a refund.
If participants are not satisfied after completing the first two modules and accessing additional resources, they can request a full refund within the 14-day period.
To initiate the refund process, participants must email [email protected] within the specified timeframe. No questions will be asked, and the refund will be processed promptly.
By enrolling in the course and completing the payment process, participants agree to the payment terms outlined above, including the refund policy.
Course Access and Delivery
Access to Course Materials:
Participants will access the course materials through Kajabi, our online learning platform.
Notifications about course assets, including modules, downloadable PDFs, and audio files, will be sent to participants via email.
Duration of Access:
Participants will have lifetime access to the course!
Downloadable Resources:
Downloadable PDFs and audio files provided as course materials can be kept indefinitely, subject to usage terms outlined below.
Technical Requirements:
Participants will need a stable internet connection to access the course materials on Kajabi.
It is recommended to use a desktop or laptop computer for optimal viewing experience, although the platform is accessible on mobile devices as well.
By enrolling in the course, participants acknowledge and agree to adhere to the course access and delivery terms outlined above.
Intellectual Property Rights
Ownership:
Jerry McCorkle and Spread Truth Ministries own the intellectual property rights to the course content of Engaging the Public Square with a Better Story.
Usage Rights:
- Participants are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the course materials for personal use only.
- The course materials are intended for individual use or for members of a single household (living at the same address).
- Participants may not duplicate, reproduce, or share the course materials for commercial purposes or use in small group studies without explicit permission from Jerry McCorkle or Spread Truth Ministries.
Violation of Intellectual Property:
- Any unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of the course materials constitutes a violation of intellectual property rights.
- In the event of intellectual property infringement, the violator may be subject to legal action and liable for damages to Jerry McCorkle and Spread Truth Ministries.
Reporting Infringement:
Participants who become aware of any infringement upon the intellectual property rights of Engaging the Public Square with a Better Story are encouraged to report it promptly.

Community Guidelines
Interaction in the online community and Live Q&A Sessions:
- Participants are encouraged to engage respectfully and constructively in the comments section of the course and during live Q&A sessions. It's important to seek understanding and clarification rather than making assumptions about others' perspectives or experiences.
- These spaces are intended for discussion, support, and learning related to the course content. They are not platforms for self-promotion or promotion of personal ministries.
Consequences of Misconduct:
- Any disrespectful behavior or attempts to solicit within the community spaces will result in a warning from the course moderators.
- If the behavior persists after a warning, the participant may be removed from the group to maintain the integrity and educational atmosphere of the community.
Reporting Misconduct:
- Participants who encounter disrespectful behavior or inappropriate conduct are encouraged to report it promptly to the course moderators.
- Reports of misconduct can be submitted via email to [email protected].
Privacy Policy
Collection of Information:
- When participants make a purchase, we collect their name, address, email address, and credit card information.
- The address provided is used solely to send printed material related to the course via mail.
- Email addresses are used to respond to participant inquiries and, if they have opted in, to send marketing emails.
- Participants have the option to save their credit card information for future transactions.
- Payment plans will automatically save participants' card information for the duration of the payment plan, with a total of three recurring transactions.
Use of Information:
- Personally identifiable information collected from participants is used solely for the purposes stated above.
- We do not use or share this information in ways unrelated to the stated purposes without providing an opportunity for participants to opt-out or prohibit such unrelated uses.
Updating Information:
- Participants can update their personal information, including their address and email address, in their member portal on their Kajabi account.
By purchasing the course and providing their information, participants consent to the collection and use of their information as outlined in this privacy policy.
Disclaimer
Confidence in Evangelism:
- While we strive to provide a course that equips participants to become more confident evangelists, Jerry McCorkle, Spread Truth Ministries, and any affiliated individuals or entities make no warranties or representations about the specific outcomes or results participants may achieve through the course.
- We understand that each participant's journey and circumstances are unique, and therefore, individual outcomes may vary.
Course Materials "As Is":
- The course materials provided in Engaging the Public Square with a Better Story are provided "as is" without any guarantees of accuracy or completeness.
- Jerry McCorkle, Spread Truth Ministries, and affiliated individuals or entities make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, or availability of the course content.
Participant Acknowledgment:
- Participants acknowledge that any reliance on the course materials or information provided during the course is at their own risk.

Termination Policy
Reserve Right to Terminate or Suspend:
- Jerry McCorkle, Spread Truth Ministries, and any affiliated individuals or entities reserve the right to terminate or suspend a participant's access to the course at any time, without prior notice or refund, if deemed necessary.
Actions or Behaviors Leading to Termination or Suspension:
- Termination or suspension may occur if a participant engages in any of the following actions or behaviors:
- Violation of the Community Guidelines, including disrespectful behavior, solicitation, or promotion of personal ministries.
- Any attempt to share, distribute, or reproduce course materials beyond personal use or use within a single household.
- Any form of harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate conduct towards other participants, instructors, or course moderators.
- Failure to comply with payment obligations or engaging in fraudulent activity related to course payments.
- Any other behavior deemed detrimental to the integrity or positive atmosphere of the course community.
Consequences of Termination or Suspension:
- Upon termination or suspension, the participant will be removed from the course and lose access to any materials they haven't downloaded or received yet.
- No refund or prorated refund will be provided in the event of termination or suspension.
- The participant's access to the course community and live Q&A sessions will also be revoked.
Notification of Termination or Suspension:
- In the event of termination or suspension, the participant will be notified via email or other contact information provided at the time of enrollment.
- A brief explanation of the reason for termination or suspension may be provided, at the discretion of Jerry McCorkle or Spread Truth Ministries.
By enrolling in the course, participants agree to adhere to the terms and conditions outlined in this section regarding termination and suspension.
Changes to Terms and Conditions:
Reserve Right to Update:
- Jerry McCorkle, Spread Truth Ministries, and any affiliated individuals or entities reserve the right to update or modify the terms and conditions of the course at any time without prior notice.
Notification of Changes:
- Participants will be notified of any changes to the terms and conditions via email or through a notification on the course platform.
Acceptance of Modified Terms:
- Continued participation in the course after changes to the terms and conditions indicates acceptance of the modified terms.
- It is the responsibility of participants to review the updated terms and conditions periodically for any changes.
Testimonials
Permission to Use:
- By participating in the course, participants grant Jerry McCorkle, Spread Truth Ministries, and any affiliated individuals or entities permission to use any testimonials they share in the course community, direct messages, or emails, for promotional or marketing purposes.
- Testimonials may be used in various marketing materials, including but not limited to websites, social media, emails, and printed materials.
Protection of Privacy:
- In using testimonials, Jerry McCorkle and Spread Truth Ministries will take measures to protect the privacy of participants. If using a story or testimonial shared by a participant, names and identifying information will be changed or omitted to maintain privacy and confidentiality.
By participating in the course and sharing testimonials, participants acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined above regarding the use of testimonials.
